:: JournalHoly crap.
No matter how many times I watch the Pink Panther movies over and over again, Peter Sellers still manages to make me laugh. Hehe.
Let's see - first off, my scanner recently went
completely the way of the Dodo. The computer won't even recognize the device, no matter which port I plug it into. I cleaned out a trojan from the machine as well, cleaned my HD and defragmented the drive - but in my cleaning frenzy I also deleted a good portion of the
music some friends over AIM had sent me. BAH.
In other news, school's been out since the 22nd! I'm very happy, because I know I did well in two of my classes - an A in Survey of Sequential Art, and a B in Psychology, which I feared I was going to fail. Now all that remains is my Art History grade, and I think I did pretty decently there, because I did well on my exam. I'm still waiting impatiently for the grades to show up online officially. :
Ezy and I have been adjusting to living together, mostly spending a lot of time in one another's company, and I'm pleased to say that we haven't driven one another crazy yet. ;] That's always a good sign. Things are going very well in that department!
We also got a
dog! She's a Chix, chihuahua-terrier mix, and is absolutely loving and well-behaved. Picked her up at the Humane Society on Friday, so we've mostly spent time training her, fattening her up (she was a bit on the skinny side when we picked her up, but she's already putting on weight) and just showing her a lot of love. The poor thing's previous owner couldn't keep her, and fed the shelter people a
lot of BS in her hurry to get rid of her. : Marked her as a bit of an unruly dog, but she hasn't done her business in the house, and we've only heard her bark like, twice. She already knows where she sleeps and she's really quick at picking up commands. I'm really excited that we got her, and are able to offer her a good home.
All I need to do is pay the pet deposit. I'll get all of it back I'm sure, because she's house trained, and not too excitable.
Lastly, I'm getting on the plane at 12:25pm tomorrow to go back home to Italy! I'm really excited at the prospect of seeing my family again. My mom says it's dreadfully cold in Milan, but it snowed, so I don't mind, haha. I'm going to bribe my cousins to take me snowboarding. m/ Whee!
So yes. Things are going well on this end. :] I'm coming back on the 2nd of January (classes start on the 4th), and I'm very pleased with the classes I chose for next quarter.
When I come back, I'll have new art, lots of photos from the trip, and hopefully a brand new spankin' scanner which I will name Bob. For good luck. Yes.
Ciao kids!
